APICS offers three certification programs:

  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)

CPIM Overview

The APICS CPIM program takes an in-depth look at the production and inventory activities within the internal operations of a company.

    APICS CPIM designees are typically involved in:

  • Production and inventory management
  • Operations
  • Supply chain management
  • Procurement
  • Materials management
  • Forecasting and planning
  • Finance and cost accounting
  • Manufacturing information systems

 CSCP Overview

The APICS CSCP program covers the full scope of managing the components of global supply chains.  It provides a thorough understanding of the supply chain so employees can identify opportunities for improvement within their company.

    APICS CSCP designees are typically involved in:

  • Design and implementation of supply chain strategies
  • Supplier and customer relations, international trade, and physical logistics
  • Information technology to enable the supply chain
  • Consulting or teaching supply chain functions
  • ERP systems.
